Veritas is CCM's annual retreat held in the spring semester, a time to focus on Jesus and disconnect from the world for a day.

 As Jesus would go away to deserted places to spend time with His Father, we will retreat about three hours from Oxford to Cullman, Alabama t spend some intentional time with the Lord. The Abbey is home to Benedictine brothers.  On Saturday, we will make a pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, AL, which was founded by Mother Angelica.

Retreatants can expect talks, meals, time for prayer, Mass, and opportunities for confession. This year's focus is entering into the routine of monastic life.

The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, AL was founded by Mother Angelica of EWTN. It has been designated a 2025 Jubilee Pilgrimage site by the Diocese of Birmingham. We will spend Saturday there.

St. Bernard Abbey in Cullman, AL is home to thirty monks who live according to the Rule of St. Benedict. We wil lbe staying in their retreat house and praying the liturgy of the Hours with them.
