So here's the deal…every year we have girls (girls seem to be more affected by this than the guys) that come to us saying that their sorority will not excuse them coming to Mass on Sunday, therefore, having to pay a ridiculous fine. Poor girls even go into explaining that it’s a mortal sin and all that stuff.

The typical response they get from their sorority is that if they let a Catholic go to Mass, then they have to let everyone else go to their church. False. It is not an obligation for a protestant to miss going to church BUT it is an obligation for a Catholic to attend Mass…but no one ever listens to me or Father Joe so here we are!
